Maggie Schwed is the author of Out of Season (Finishing Line Press 2008) and Driving to the Bees (Black Lawrence Press 2014). Her work has appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, Kenyon Review Online, Barrow Street, Smartish Pace, and Pleiades.  She received an MA from the University of Chicago’s Committee on Social Thought. She lives in New York City and works part-time as a livestock farm hand at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture.
